Internationally acclaimed artist Janet Echelman's striking sculpture Tsunami 1.26 is currently suspended above George street, Sydney and will be on display until the 23rd of October. The artwork, which was previously showcased at the Biennale of the Americas in Denver, is the largest of many lace works from the Powerhouse Museum's Love Lace exhibition and also forms part of Art & About Sydney.

This bridge by Architects Denton Corker Marshall was shortlisted for a competition in Hangzhou, China. The 400m-long pedestrian and cycle bridge is comprised of three ribbon-like components that interweave to create a sculptural form that takes passengers across Jinsha lake.
Bruce Munro | Forest of Light

UK light artist Bruce Munro is to create Forest of Light as part of an exhibition of his work at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. Light!, which opens on 9th June 2012 is Munro's first major exhibition in the US and will feature seven large outdoor installations as well as two indoor installations within Longwood's grand conservatory and a collection of illuminated sculptures in the music room.
