UAP Director Matthew Tobin was part of the design team headed by
architects Fairweather Proberts that won a national design competition to
design Australia's National Police Memorial. A 27-metre textured bronze wall
serves as the main architectural element and is adorned with 1200 touchstone
plaques inscribed with the names of the fallen officers. Etched into the
facetted and undulating pavement are personal messages from loved ones of those
who have died.
