Created for Old Parliament House in the National Capital Precinct, the Women's Suffrage Memorial recognizes the contribution women have made to Australia's political landscape. The memorial is comprised of a large rectilinear reflection pool; its basin is a highly detailed glass mosaic of wisteria blossoms. At one end of the feature, water cascades over a bronze weir while on the other, a timeline, constructed out of mosaic and bronze plaques, notes key milestones since Federation in 1901.
