Suspended opaque glass panels create an extraordinary and elegant artwork for a hotel lobby. Artist Sandra Selig evokes a delicate tension between the hard glass and the airy space it inhabits. With Slowness of Light, glass acts as a receiver and amplifier of transient surroundings. As the viewer moves around the space, the glass reflects numerous perspectives, dynamically enlivening the entire lobby.
